Manchester United star Rashford mocks Allardyce's Three Lions
Marcus Rashford made a mockery of his demotion from the senior side on Tuesday evening by scoring a brilliant hat-trick in the England U21s 6-1 demolition of Norway in Colchester.
Rashford who was a member of the Three Lions to the just concluded 2016 Euros in France was surprisingly left out of Sam Allardyce’s senior squad last week for the World Cup qualifying tie against Slovakia.
The younsgter man who netted the vital stoppage time winner for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United against Hull City made his first appearance for Gareth Southgate’s Under-21 side instead and in style.
The message from Rashford was simple; that he was too good for this level with two clinical finishes and a cool penalty and that he was good enough to give the likes of Harry Kane Jamie Vardy a run for their money.
The result puts England closer to qualifying for the European Championship in Poland next season in a match that unarguably was all about one man.
