Hazard wins EPL Player of the month

The good start by Chelsea under new manager, Antonio Conte, which was rewarded with nine points from three matches, had more gloss added as Eden Hazard was named as the English Premier League’s Player of the month.
The Chelsea ace, who has scored twice in the first three league games beat Manchester United's Antonio Valencia, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Hull City's Curtis Davies to the monthly diadem.
Hazard had a torrid 2015/16 season as Jose Mourinho was sacked and the Belgian was fraught with all kinds of injuries.
Hazard did not score in the league until April 23 when he scored twice against Bournemouth as he ended the season with four goals. In the title-winning 2014/15 season – he had ended with 14 goals and was crowned Player of the season.
Hazard last month told his club’s official website that Conte has been responsible for his renaissance in a blue shirt. “He's tried to give us confidence.
”He knows players because he used to be one. We had one bad season but we are trying to do better. He tries to motivate us and we are giving everything,” he added. Chelsea travel to Wales on Sunday to confront Swansea.
