Arsenal and Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez says he possesses the same quality as Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Chilean has been one of the stars of the Premier League since he arrived from Barcelona in 2014, scoring 30 goals in 68 league appearances.
Over the past eight seasons, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been widely considered to be the greatest players in the world, winning a multitude of individual awards in the process.
And even though he has not won as many trophies as Messi and Ronaldo, Sanchez is convinced he is not 'inferior' to any player in world football and reckons he's as good as the record breaking duo.
He told Spanish newspaper Sport: "I have reached a level where I can compete with great players.
"I do not feel inferior to anybody.
"I liken [my qualities] to Messi and Ronaldo. I have the same abilities as them."
Messi and Ronaldo have excelled for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, winning multiple club trophies and numerous individual awards.
Despite a dip in form at the tail end of last season, Sanchez still managed to score 13 Premier League goals, guiding Arsenal to a 2nd place finish behind eventual winners Leicester City.
